Equipment needs to start training and to compete in an Triathlon Swimming: Goggles or swim mask Tri-Shorts or swim suit Training swim fins (optional) Pull buoys ( optional ) Running: Shoes, Get a good pair of shoes that fit your feet. I recommend going to a running store and let them fit you. Don't skimp here, you can hurt your feet, just ask me. Hat - optional Tri-Shorts ( Running shorts ) Water Bottle belt ( optional for long runs ) Warmups or sweatshirt if it is cold Cycling: Bike - Any kind will do starting out, just remember the mountain bikes and fat tire bikes will be heavy and will slow you down. Do a couple of Triathlons before you commit to buying an expensive bike. More details in out upcoming seminar. Water Bottles. USAT approved helmet Sunglasses cycling shoes ( optional ) Jersey - preferably a Sportslife Jersey extra tubes tire Pump tire levers under the seat wedge bag for the above As a member of the Club you receive a 10% discount at the Sun & Ski store located at Bitters and Hwy 281, see Sergio at the store.
