The thing that I always remember about this race is the parking. Namely the LONG walk from where you park to where the race is held, easily a half mile walk. Everyone gets to the race site when it is still pitch black. Setting up transition in the dark is not as much fun as it sounds.
Saturday was a great day to race! The weather was nice, the river was up, and the roads were dry. Our own Tomm Wisloff used these conditions to power himself to win the Blanco Mini-Gator. That is right, he finished first overall. Way to go Tomm!!
Tina also had her neice at the event, and she finished her first triathlon! Spreading the love of triathlon, gotta love it.
