25 miles: http://www.mapmytri.com/workout/united-states/tx/san-antonio/102177133
Run long with RTR. They meet every Sunday morning at McAllister Park (Al Becken Pavillion) and leave promptly at 7:30am. They have a 14 mile loop that takes you thru Hollywood Park and several other neighborhoods. There is water stops at mile 4, 7 and 10.
This is more of a pure running group and the pace is faster. If you are not able to keep a 8:00-8:30 min/mile pace, you should consider getting familiar with the course before you run with them.
The Northside Natatorium is on the access road of 1604 right before Bandera Rd. If you are heading West on 1604, you exit Bandera and loop around. Stay on the access heading East and the pool will be on your right about 1/4 mile down.
Feet in the water at 8:00PM.
This is one of the nicest pools in town with many lanes to choose from. To get in, it works just like Blossom did - it's either $3 or $4 or you can buy a punch card. Also, you can coach from the
side and not get in trouble! :)
Devotional and Prayer at 7pm. Warm up immediately following. We will do a 1 mile warm up (4 laps) including some stretching and a 1-2 mile cool down after the track workout. I commit to being on the track early to warm up and stretch. If you need extra time stretching, please join me at 6:30pm. Bring plenty to drink to stay hydrated in the heat.
Sprint Distance: 4x200m - 2x400m - 1x800m - 2x400m - 4x200m
Olympic Distance: 2 Sets of 8x400m

If you are interested in doing the bike course of the DAM 09, I plan on doing it after work on Monday Aug 11th at 6:15pm. Since the course is only around 11 miles, I thought I would do it twice. You can do it once or even 3 times if you like. Bring your running shoes if you want run afterwards.

6pm wheels down from 108 Merry Trail. I will be riding easy and I am assuming the tapering Ironmen Phil and Mark will be too if they ride so c'mon out. The usual hammerheads will be there for those who want that action as well. Be early as daylight is becoming a premium so we need to leave on time.
