Encouraging Word
God is always there, but the same can not be said for us. We tend to wander off. The scriptures are full of examples of the men of God taking time off to re-center themselves and seeking after God in prayer. Moses, King David, and even Jesus were recorded to do this earnest prayer. That is why the psalmist writes that our hearts should seek after God like water:
PSalm 42:1-2 "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God"
We must continually seek after God, just like we must continually drink water in order to survive.
